It was my birthday Feb. 11 and it was a great week of going out to eat with friends and family. I actually made it to my favorite restaurant, Pizzeria 712, for lunch and dinner but not on the same day and it was amazing as always. I didn't take many pictures from my birthday festivities, only Cohen but here are a few.
This was the best cake every! Yes, I made my own birthday cake but I wanted to try something new and I figured it best to ruin my own birthday cake. It's an ice cream cake plus I added pudding to the cake mix, applesauce instead of oil and I only used the egg whites. I didn't tell Steve what I did because he gets mad when I try to make foods healthy but it turns out gross but this actually worked and he liked it!

Happy Birthday AL!!! Looks like it was a good one! (PS- love that you titled the post "birthday week." I'm pretty sure that all birthday celebrations should last about a week!!) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
That cakes look amazing! I'm sure I would love it! I like to try the healthy substitutions when I can too. Although the last batch of pumpkin cookies that I used applesauce to make tasted a little funny. At least I could eat more of them since they weren't TOO bad!
Yeah, so you know what is sooo funny, I knew all day on the 11th that it was someone's birthday, and I couldn't 100% decide who's it was...of course, yours...sorry I missed it, hope you had a FABULOUS day, and it sounds like you did, with lots of yummy food!!! :)
Hey I hope you had a happy birthday! I think its amazing that you made your own birthday cake! I'm still waiting on this big company palooza! I'll start making the Christmas party plans! Yankee swap will be must! anyway i was really writing because i was going to post about Andrews new job and put pictures up from tiekbuilthomes... but i don't want to infringe on copyright laws... so just go ahead and post on my blog if you are going to sue me and i will gladly take them down! haha if not hopefully its just more free advertisement!
