Apparently, my husband's career has influenced me more than I'd like to admit...
Yesterday, we walked through one of the major remodels he's working on and the house is basically stripped down to studs and walls were moved and rearranged. I admitted I was insanely jealous that our house didn't look like that. I just love the smell of dust, sawdust, drywall, paint... progress.
So because Steve rarely has time to take a shower let alone work on our house, I have decided to dream about my kitchen by creating it in Google SketchUp. Steve spends hours and hours in this program but always for clients and I'm just now realizing how awesome he is at it.
Here is my feeble attempt to give our house an upgrade in Google SketchUp.
And these are just a few of Steve's renderings for some of his clients.
For the record, this is how this turned out. Not totally finished yet, but it's an incredible kitchen.
And see the after shots of the kitchen below taken by Meikel Reece HERE.
Bathroom - in progress.
Master bedroom (and the rest of the house) - in progress.
Even our Main Street house got this upgrade after we left. Steve always planned on doing this but never got around to it. And it really turned out sweet! I should take a picture of the end result.
