We love Christmas!

Christmas is so great and I love Christmas decorations to the point that we have two trees within 3 feet of each other. And the little one even has more decorations, but oh well. Saturday we had our family over to decorate a few cookies. It was so much fun and Ben and Tyson were amazingly creative. Sunday night we got together with my family to say goodbye to my parents who left to the MTC Monday (although we will see them for Christmas before they leave). If you didn't know, my parents were called to the Asia Medical Mission. They will live in Hong Kong but they will travel to India, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and parts of China. My parents were so excited about their mission and I say "were" because as of Saturday, President Monson gave them a new calling of Mission President! I know, it's crazy. So Dec. 27, they will leave to Hong Kong but they will be back in May. At that point they will go to the MTC again and head to their new mission (which they won't know until Feb/Mar). We are so excited for them but it's sad that they will be gone for much longer than the 18 months we thought. Pres. Monson promised they would only be Mission Pres for 2 years but we'll see.

Anyway, this is just a funny picture of Spencer and William wearing all of Lindsay's metals, which my mom had found while cleaning out the house. The boys kept saying "I want more," but they quickly changed to "these are too heavy." It was really funny!
