What is it with gym trainers and high fives? When I went to the gym today I was hunted down and offered a "free" session with a trainer. But seriously, I can't even count how many times he put his hand up for a high five. I considered leaving him hanging every time. Is that part of the training to be a trainer? "Now when you're training, be sure to give them LOTS of high fives. It will help motivate your client. And don't worry about doing it 2, 3 or 20 times a session. The more high fives the better."
Anyway, just say no to a free session. It's not worth the amount of high fives you'll receive.

I LOVE it. That's hilarious, Allison. I guess there's one advantage to enduring those hard classes we do--no pressure to do a personal training session. :)
Ha ha! Well maybe he just got back from a mission in Korea 'cause I swear when my brother got home from there he couldn't get through a full sentence without giving you a high five. Ridiculous.
As for the trainer, I would have left him hangin'.
Sorry, my comment popped up twice for some reason. So I deleted one.
That's hilarious! And my philosophy is that now that I'm married a session with a trainer isn't worth it. When I was single and he was hot however...
This trainer was definitely not hot...so that was definitely not my motivation.
Ha! That was a very entertaining entry. I can just picture some doofy trainer doing that. There's nothing worse than giving high-fives to some foreign sweaty hand!
